#GTFO RELEASE DATE UPDATE#
This update is making good on what 10 Chambers Collective calls the “Rundown.” This current “Rundown” which the developers have called “Rundown #002” has replaced the content from the original “Rundown #001” which the players have been enjoying since the game came out in Early Access. On March 31 st, 2020 GTFO players got a huge update the developers titled “Infection.” This update included things like new levels, new enemies, and more. GTFO Early Access is available on Steam for $34,99. It will be a very exciting time for hardcore gamers that will have the chance to experience content that may never exist again”, said Ulf Andersson, founder of 10 Chambers Collective and the game designer behind the PAYDAY franchise. The Early Access phase will test the Rundown concept different types of expeditions and challenges, how long should they last, how often we’re going to put out new ones, and so on. We’ve been developing the game for almost four years now - we finally want to put it in our community’s hands and let them join us in the journey to version 1.0. “GTFO is a very ambitious Early Access release. Each work order includes objectives the players must work together to solve while working their way through the enemy infested rooms. To get through the increasingly difficult complex the players, who are prisoners, will have to use communication, coordination, and cunning to solve the work orders “The Warden” has laid out for the players. The game takes place in an underground facility called “the Complex.” The game is taking elements from the survival horror genre so being aware of ammo and other items plays a large role in each mission. GTFO uses a system the developers have dubbed “The Rundown,” where the game is updated with new maps to keep the game as fresh as possible for the hardcore FPS shooter player base that 10 Chambers Collective is aiming for. After some closed beta sessions run by the game's developer, GTFO entered Early Access on Steam on December 9, 2019.
#GTFO RELEASE DATE SERIES#
The studio formed in 2015 by nine former developers from the PAYDAY series of co-op shooters. 10 Chambers Collective is the Swedish indie game developer behind GTFO. Instead, each level deeper you progress, the harder things get.GTFO is a 4 player co-op action/horror game that is still in Early Access. Saying GTFO doesn't have difficulty levels isn't entirely correct. While a lot of cooperative games offer various degrees of difficulty levels, GTFO is meant to be difficult-with things getting harder the deeper you go. They must also work to satisfy the Warden's requirements in order to be granted permission to escape. To live, the players must think, plan, ration resources, and kill enemies covertly. The presence of horrifying sleeping monsters, which have taken over the entire area, complicates the operation.

GTFO Gameplayįour scavengers are assembled by GTFO players to create a team, and they are compelled to investigate the massive underground complex in order to fulfill the Warden's requirements. Online gaming alone, though, might present GTFO in the worst possible light. Although the game can be played solo, it is recommended. However, GTFO's most memorable moments are played with a group of players or friends who share a similar outlook on life. To complete with your squad, it could take up to 100 hours of gameplay. There are 10 playable maps available in the game right now. The Warden requests that you eliminate the Rundown by utilizing your resources and a team-based plan. After entering a research facility, a group of four characters is followed by GTFO.
